03/04/2013 - MONAE / HENDRIX / FALLON

Good afternoon, the internet.
Let's 'get down to business' hmmm?

As you may or may not have seen, African American sensation Janet Monáe performed on Jimmy Fallon last night.
It was a celebration of Jimi Hendrix's death - cooked up by the Old Media to hopefully go mad viral / meme / and 'sell shitloads' of his 'new' CD.

"Eff it." - Janet Monáe [citation needed]

From what I understand, The Jimmy Fallon Show is very similar to The Jonathan Ross Show - but he (Fallon) has better bands than him (Ross).

Sort of feel that this 'sums up' the UK, really.

"We used to have it all.
Cultural significance / artistic merit / Canada / India.
Now we are in 2nd (quite possibly lower) place." - A Haiku / State of the Union Address 2013

If you can 'turn a blind eye' to the silly comb thing in the drummer-mans hair, and also 'tune out' the 'shit' at the beginning, then you may notice the guitar-man.

Other than the rap music (obviously, niggas) I don't really listen to a lot of music by black people for black people.

Sort of feel 'intimidated' by it :-( sadface.

However, even with our limited knowledge of this musical scene, I think that we can all notice something 'fishy' about the guitar-man.
Is this man the same man as the Outcast-man?

Is this man (guitar-man) the same man as the Andre 3000 (Outcast-man)?

Just thinking (typing) outloud.

  • We never see them in the same place at the same time.
  • They both have long, black, straight hair.
  • They both 'play an instrument'.
  • They both seem 'charismatic'.

Whenever a situation happens, as a blog it's absolutely VITAL to jump on it ASAP (<<< that means As Soon As Possible) to generate content = secure mad hits.

I'm sure we can all agree that to remain on the metaphorical bleeding edge of the metaphorical knife is crucial in today's technological world. (That was a metaphor.)
You snooze - you lose, niggas.

Sometimes I think that who we are OTI is more important than who we are IRL / AFK.

If you agree, why?

"I am just trying to be heard.
To become internet famous. Meme.
Meme. 1 word. 1 chance. 4 letters. 4ever." A Very Powerful Haiku ©

I think that we've all learned something today, but probably not.

Remain vigilant, brothers and sisters. Good luck out there.

xx (2 kisses.)
